AP1000 Station Blackout Gatefold

This is a double-gate fold for Westinghouse Electric Company. The goal was to illustrate the passive safety systems of their next-generation power plant. This project was used immediately after the Fukushima disaster to illustrate how the AP1000 plant from Westinghouse would have survived the tsunami and remained intact. It included a timeline explaining how the passive safety systems would have worked and was paired with interactive flash animation.

Together, the animations and gatefold served as the cornerstone of one of the most critical campaigns Westinghouse had done to that point.
